Green streets

This blog post is for TWO whole days... Likely to be more days in the future though!

Yesterday we went to a sweet little market that had the perfect mood. It was just busy enough to be interesting but not overwhelming.

And it had incredible bread.

It also had some pretty great empanadas. Markie ate a chicken/potato empanada while I ate a cheese and ham empanada. Markie's was way better. Sad day.

Today we decided to go take a visit to the Sagrada Familia, we also explored the streets and visited the gothic quarter. The gothic quarter made both of us feel like we were in 'Assassin's Creed', which was a pretty fucking cool feeling.

We also learned that....

And then Markie lookin cute and stuff.

And finally the Sagrada Familia! One of the most striking features of this Basílica was the multicolored stained glass that had incredible detailing. The glass provided great natural lighting throughout the building.

Well...

I am not sure what Markie is doing and he isn't either!

After that we wondered around, had some incredible tapas, made bubbles in a courtyard, and then wondered home to drink some pretty damn good wine. It was cheap too!

We leave the city tomorrow and are staying at a cheap refugi at the base of the Pyrenees Mountains. I am only slightly anxious about driving in Spain. Even if I suck, everyone seems pretty friendly.

Good night!
